KARACHI -- Investors resorted to buying activities Friday over news of government's decision to do away with circular debt and rumor of cut in interest rate of National Savings which added over one per cent into the main index that ended the first quarter of Financial Year 2011-12 above 11,700 levels. The benchmark KSE 100-Index climbed by 1.03 per cent or 119.51 points to close at 11,761.97 levels, KSE All Share Index increased by 1.05 per cent or 84.61 points to end at 8,159.12, KSE 30-Index gained 0.78 per cent or 87.03 points to conclude at 11,220.93, whereas KMI 30-Index jumped by 0.78 per cent or 165.01 points to finish the day at 21,313.30 levels here.
